The current Emeritus Professor of Psychology in the University of Indonesia and the Chairman of the Cultural Committee at the Indonesian Science Academy, first received his doctorandus degree in psychology from the University of Indonesia. In 1962, he received his postgraduate degree in Social Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Toronto, Canada. Five years later, he obtained his doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of Indonesia.Fuad Hassan had written numerous books, ranging from books on philosophy to translations of short stories. Professor Hassan also served as the Ambassador of Indonesia to Egypt (concurrently accredited to Sudan, Somalia and Djibouti). From 1985 to 1993, he was the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture. | |||
